Saturn Astra
Starting at just $16,495, the Saturn Astra is the company's entry-level vehicle. Available in both 5-door and sportier 3-door models, the Astra offers efficient fuel mileage, a comfortable ride and sufficient power. The popular car was voted the Best New Small Car by the National Post in Canada and hailed as the 2008 Car of the Year by Motoring magazine.
Unfortunately, the rave reviews and low sticker price means there is strong demand for this popular car. That demand means low supplies and less negotiating power for savvy consumers.
Saturn Aura
Among Saturn automobiles, the Aura is the quintessential family sedan and offers a reasonable 22 mpg for city driving and 30 mpg for highway driving. The car is also available in a Green Line Hybrid, which gets 24 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.
The Saturn Aura also includes one year of GM's OnStar service, a subscription service that allows drivers to press the OnStar button in their vehicle and be directly connected with an OnStar representative who can help you with directions, roadside assistance or emergencies.
Saturn Vue
Like the Saturn Aura, the Saturn Vue is also available in a Green Line hybrid model. As one of the first compact, crossover SUVs to go hybrid, the Saturn Vue led the way for competitive followers. The hybrid version of the Vue gets an incredible 25 mpg in the city and 32 mpg in the city and starts at a low $26,000 MSRP.
The Hyrid Vue is only available as a limited release and is typically sold as a special order vehicle, meaning buyers will often have to pay the full suggested retail sticker price.
Saturn Outlook
The Outlook is at the forerunner of Saturn Automobiles' line of crossover utility vehicles. Chosen by Parent's Magazine as the Best Family Car of 2008, by Kelley Blue Book as the Best New Family Car and by Motorweek magazine as the Best New Crossover Vehicle, the Outlook is sweeping awards and winning over consumers. This popular vehicle has a sticker price starting at just under $30,000.
